After hundreds of leaks and rumors finally, Meizu has announced their two latest flagship smartphones Meizu Pro 7 and its bigger brother Pro 7 Plus. We have gone through a series of leaks for this smartphone and so far almost all the leaks and rumors were true.
Both Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus sports a rear faced secondary AMOLED display with 307PPI pixel density. The small display comes with plenty of features like the Time & Weather information, Live Wallpapers. You can also take selfies using the rear camera and the rear mounted display.
Meizu Pro 7 features a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED Full HD Display while the Pro 7 Plus sports a bigger and better Super AMOLED 5.7-inch QHD Display. Both the devices are powered by 2.6GHz deca-core Helio X30 processor.
Pro 7 features 4GB LPDDR 4X RAM and EMMC 5.1 64GB onboard storage while the Pro 7 Plus sports 6GB LPDDR 4X RAM with 64GB/128GB UFS2.1 internal storage. Out of the box, the devices run on Android 7.0 Nougat with Flyme 6 on the top.
Both Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus feature 12MP+12MP Dual camera setup at the back with Sony IMX386 sensors, dual-tone LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture. The front-facing camera is a 16MP shooter to take care of the selfies.
Meizu Pro 7 comes with a 3000mAh with mCharge 3.0 support while the Pro 7 Plus features a 3500mAh battery with mCharge 4.0. With mCharge 4.0 Meizu PRO 7 Plus can be charged from 0 to 67% within 30 minutes.
As connectivity options, the devices support 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. Meizu PRO 7 also comes with an independent Audio chip for better sound experience. The company has also announced Meizu Flow earphones although it is not clear whether the earphones will be included in the retail package or not.
Meizu Pro 7 base model comes with a price tag of $430 while the Pro 7 Plus pricing starts at $530. Both the devices come in Black, Red, Gold, and Silver color combinations and will be available from 5th August in China.
