Meizu is all set to launch its latest series of smartphones – the Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro. Ahead of their launch, the brand has confirmed the camera specifications as well as the display and battery specs. Popular leakster Digital Chat Station has also leaked a live image of the Meizu 20 Pro.
In the leaked image, the device can be seen sporting a minimalistic design with four cameras stacked vertically on the back, volume buttons and a power key on the right edge, and a speaker grille and a USB-C port at the bottom. The device also has the Meizu logo on the back.
According to the official teasers, Meizu 20 will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and SMA optical image stabilization. The device will also come with DarkVision 2.0 extreme night scene enhancement and full-pixel focusing technology that offers a 33% increased focus speed compared to its predecessor, the Meizu 18s.
The Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro are expected to be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The devices will be cooled using a heat dissipation system that covers an area of 36242mm², which is 56% higher than the previous generation. Both devices will also feature 144Hz displays.
The Meizu 20 Pro will have an E6 AMOLED panel with LTPO technology, as confirmed by the brand. The display will offer a 2K resolution, a 1Hz–120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1800 nits.
In addition to these features, the Meizu 20 Pro will also support ultra-wideband technology that will help users find the precise location of their accessories and vehicles. The device will also support the CCC3.0 standard UWB car key function. The Meizu 20 Pro will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
