In an extension to its line of Helio processors, MediaTek has launched a new midrange system-on-chip (SoC) chipset Helio P25, which is built specifically for dual-camera smartphones. The brand-new processor is developed on the 16nm process and comes with octa-core CPU.
Helio P25 aims at giving an extra dimension to the mobile photography, where users can enjoy the full capacity of dual camera smartphones. The chipset is an upgraded version of Helio P10 and Helio P20 chipsets and is highly power-efficient. It is drawn on the company’s Image Signal Processor Technology – Imagiq. Plus, it can support up to 24MP single camera and 13MP+13MP dual cameras.
The latest chipset makes way for better and innovative camera effects, along with other features like Real-Time DoF Bokeh Effect, and Mono De-Noise. Apart from this, it comes with video HDR compatibility, and also supports the auto exposure built to a higher specification.
In addition to this, Helio P25 features RAM up to 6GB and also provides for high-speed wireless communication (LTE).
