MediaTek Helio X30, which was announced last summer, has been widely speculated that it will power up the smartphones from Q2 2017 onwards.
Now, the news that trickles in is that the Chinese multinational is planning to bat a thousand with its next SoC. As per the reports, the latest processor is built on 7nm process and comprises 12 cores.
Reports further add that MediaTek and TSMC are putting forward a collaborative effort to introduce a work-efficient line of chipsets.
Though MediaTek hasn’t achieved conclusive gains with TSMC’s 10nm process, the company is still continuing its partnership with it for its next range of system-on-chip processors.
