LG India has started sending official press invites for the LG G6 India launch that is slated to happen on 26th of April.
Even though this event will give us the official information on the pricing and availability of LG G6 in India, several retailers have already begun revealing information related to the LG G6 pricing.
A retailer from Mumbai has revealed that the LG G6 will cost Rs. 51,990 (approx. $805) in India at launch which is still cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S8 in India, which was launched at Rs. 57,900 (approx $896).
Apart from the cheaper pricing, LG will also be partnering with several banks to offer additional discounts. Customers of the SBI and HDFC banks will get additional cashback of Rs. 5000 and on the purchase of the LG G6, all customers are entitled to a 50% discount on the LG Tone Active+ pair of Bluetooth headset. Users can also avail a one-time screen replacement for their LG G6 within the first 6 months of purchase at absolutely free of cost. Apart from all these, people who pre-book the LG G6 on the day of launch will receive an additional cashback of Rs. 2000.
Adding up all the offers provided, the price of the LG G6 drops way below to just Rs. 44,990 (approx. $696), which when compared to the Galaxy S8, is a steal deal for the Indian buyers.
The device is said to be available for purchase from April 29. So are you planning to buy the LG G6? Are you excited about this announcement? Do leave a comment below to share your opinion.
