Moving off the smartphone trend, LeEco has launched a new device – a 4K action camera with the name ‘Liveman C1’. With this, LeEco has made a foray into the markets of action cameras.
Just a few months back, Yi Technology, a Xiaomi-powered firm, set new benchmarks in the industry by launching its very own 4K Action camera, drawn on the power of next-gen Ambarella A9SE75 chip. Now, LeEco is ready to take on Yi with its high-end action cameras and GoPros.
Talking about the capabilities, Liveman C1 is equipped with infrastructure to shoot 4K videos at 30fps, which is still a lower specification as compared to Yi’s 60 fps. Further, it has a 16MP camera sensor, a 140-degree FOV, a 1.8-inch touchscreen that acts as a viewfinder and a G-sensor to cater to the needs of automatic recording. It also has a slot for microSD, a micro HDMI port, and a 1,050 mAh battery.
LeEco’s action camera is excellently optimized for underwater shooting, as it is equipped with a waterproof case that enables the users to shoot inside the waters at up to 40m. To support the purpose, it also sports two self-adhesive mounts, a USB cable for charging and a bunch of extensions.
