The Apple iPhone has always featured an overall similar design tone from its very beginning. However, to mark the 10th-year anniversary of the original Apple iPhone, we expect Apple to bring several design changes to the iPhone this year and one of the highly expected change is a 5.8-inch OLED display that will feature really slim bezels on both sides and on the top and bottom as well.
So far no authentic-looking leaks of the Apple iPhone 8 have appeared, and neither can we confirm any speculations until the official launch of the iPhone 8. However, today we see a few images leaked online in China, which reportedly features technical drawings of the Apple iPhone 8.
The image leak shows off a front-panel that resembles the LG G6. However, that is the only similarity we can draw as of now. The back portion of the leaked images looks quite different with the placement of vertical dual-camera sensors and the fingerprint scanner which is placed somewhat in the rear-middle of the device. Reports also claim that the handset in the drawings will have dimensions of 149×72.5×7.1mm, which also makes the upcoming iPhone 8 slightly thinner than the LG G6 as well.
Earlier rumors also stated that the iPhone 8 will have its iconic fingerprint/home button embedded into the display and that the iPhone 8 will be announced alongside the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus around the month of September this year.
An important point to note about the above-leaked images is that these schematics are leaked while in the Engineering Validation Test Phase which means that this may not be what we see with the Apple iPhone 8 later this year.
