What’s new:
- WhatsApp Status: Now you can post photos, videos, and GIFs as your Status and also you can share it with your contacts. The Status updates from other contacts will appear in the Status tab, and they’ll vanquish after 24 hours. If you don’t want to get Status updates from a particular contact, you can do it by long pressing on the contact’s name in the Status tab.
- Accessing camera is much faster now, and you can get it by swiping right from the chats tab.
- Enable the two-step verification option in Settings to your account. You will require a passcode while registering your phone number again with WhatsApp.
