Previously, the South Korean company launched its mobile wallet payment service, Samsung Pay in India. Whereas now, it has started pushing out a new update to it. The latest update of Samsung Pay weighs 84MB in size and brings a significant feature in it – support for Unified Payments Interface (UPI).
The UPI payment system allows users to transfer money between bank accounts on the mobile platform instantly. With the addition of this new feature, Samsung Pay users can also transact with their bank accounts as well.
However, it wouldn’t be a surprise to most of the Samsung Pay users since the firm has announced it earlier during its launch in India. Meanwhile, the incremental feature of Samsung Pay will be a good alternative for BHIM app which also supports UPI as well.
