LastPass helps users to store passwords and sync them across devices. Previously, free users were restricted to access password within a single device only.
From now on, Smartphone users will be able to sync their password across multiple devices totally free of any cost with the help of LastPass. Users, who already have a Lastpass account, will now be able to sync between the mobile app and browser extension.
In the meanwhile, premium users with $1 monthly subscription will be able to use the app along with other features like family password sharing, priority customer support, two-factor authentication security. Further, they will also be able to store up to 1 GB document in encrypted form.
In a blog post, LastPass founder, vice president and general manager, Joe Siegrist said
“By offering LastPass for free across all your devices, we’re making it that much easier for everyone to make good password habits the norm. Because when you have a password manager that goes everywhere you do, you have a strong foundation for securing and taking control of your identity.”
