A new trade analysis suggests that the top 256GB storage variant of the upcoming Apple iPhone 8 could come with a price tag of around $1100. This analysis is made by studying the increase in pricing of newer generation iPhone models in the past.

A pricing scheme that analysts name as the “Staircase model” shows that Apple has increased the base price of newer iPhone models by at least $100 every three years and this model is being followed by Apple ever since the launch of the first iPhone model 10 years ago.
We earlier had rumored about a possible $1000 price tag for the Apple iPhone 8. And now with the latest analysis and reports, this seems like the $1000 Apple iPhone 8 will be a reality.
