Intex Aqua Star 4G comes with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display. It is powered by 1 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P 64-bit processor along with 1GB RAM and MaliT720 GPU. The device has 8GB internal memory which can also be expanded with microSD. The device runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) out of the box which is upgradable to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Intex is the first Indian brand which has integrated Opera Max’s functionality with its operating system on its 4G smartphone which reduces data consumption by up to 50% on images, webpages and streaming.
The device is equipped with a 8MP primary shooter with LED Flash, f/2.4 aperture. On the front there is a 2MP front-facing camera to take selfies and for video calling.
As connectivity options, the device includes 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It comes with a 2,000 mAh battery under the hood. It is featuring with Swalekh keyboard which lets you write in your own language and Matrabhasha service enables communication in 21 regional languages including Hindi.
