Chinese tech giant Huawei is set to launch its latest flagship smartphones, the P60 and P60 Pro, on March 23, and fans are eagerly anticipating what new features and design elements the company has in store. The latest leak suggests that the Huawei P60 Pro will come in four new eye-catching color variants, including Emerald Green, Rococo White, Feather Purple, and Feather Black. While the authenticity of these leaks remains unconfirmed, they hint at a departure from Huawei’s traditional minimalist design approach, which could potentially attract a new demographic of consumers.
In addition to the new colors, the P60 Pro is expected to feature a premium design, possibly incorporating frost or new glass material for construction. While the P60 series has previously been leaked with six color options, the addition of these new, more vibrant color choices suggests Huawei is looking to differentiate itself from its competitors in the highly competitive smartphone market. The leaked metal aperture around the camera module further suggests that these new colors may be exclusive to the higher-end P60 Pro model.
The device is rumored to come with a 6.6-inch 2K BOE OLED display and the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, along with an LPDDR5X+UFS4.0 memory combination. The device is also expected to have an impressive triple-camera setup with an upgrade to XMAGE 2.0, featuring a primary 50MP Sony IMX888 sensor, 50MP Sony IMX858 ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a third telephoto camera with a 64MP OV64B Omnivision sensor with 3.5x optical zoom.
As with any leaks, it remains to be seen if the P60 Pro will indeed feature these new color options. However, if true, the addition of these bold and striking colors would be a significant departure from Huawei’s previous design language.
