Honor 9 was in the rumor mill for some time now and the recent leak suggests that the upcoming flagship smartphone of Honor will be announced on 27th June. The teaser is leaked on Twitter by reliable tipster Roland Quandt.
The picture in the tweet looks like a press invite for an event on June 27. In spite of the fact that there is nowhere written Honor 9 on it, it says ‘Light Catcher’ which could mean that the company is indicating Honor 9 on the invite.
We can interpret it as Honor 9 because of the fact that the smartphone is speculated to feature a dual camera set up at the back like those featured on Huawei’s Mate 9 or P10 or P10 Plus. It was already speculated before that the phone from Honor will have 20MP + 12 MP dual camera set up at the back.
Talking about the specs, it is rumored that the phone will offer a 5.2-inch Full HD display, Kirin 960 chipset paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The smartphone might come with Android Nougat 7.1.1 based EMUI.
