Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched their latest gaming-centric smartphone Honor Play in India. Last month the device was announced in China. Let’s check out the specifications of this device.
Honor Play Specifications
Honor Play comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ LCD 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 970 along with an i7 co-processor, NPU, Mali-G72 MP12 GPU, and GPU Turbo to increase the graphics processing efficiency. The phone comes in two variants: 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB of storage. The storage can be upgraded up to 256GB using microSD card. Out of the box, Honor Play runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 on the top.
Coming to the camera department, Honor Play features 16MP(f/2.2)+2MP(f/2.4) dual cameras with LED flash, PDAF, CAF, EIS. While on the front, it has a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture to take care of the selfies.
The device has a metal back with a fingerprint sensor placed on it. It has a 3750mAh battery with fast charging support.
Honor Play not only gives us 4D gaming experience with graphics and 3D audio effects and it also includes AI vibration matched to in-game scenarios and objects. The device comes with ultra-wide 3D sound field provided by Histen 3D audio technology for cinematic experience while gaming.
Honor Play comes with a price tag of Rs. 19,999 for the 4GB RAM variant while the 6GB RAM variant costs Rs. 23,999. The device will is now up for sale on Amazon.in and official Honor online store.
