An event was held by Huawei yesterday in China where the sub-brand Honor announced its new tablet Honor Pad 2 along with Honor 6X. Let’s check out the specifications of the tablet.

Huawei Honor Pad 2 comes with 8-inch 16:10 IPS display. The device is powered by Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor along with 3GB RAM. The internal storage comes in two variants 16GB and 32GB which can be extended up to 128GB via microSD card. Out of the box, the device will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on Emotion UI 4.1.
The primary camera is an 8MP shooter with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, and the front-facing camera is a 2MP shooter. The device has support for 4G LTE with voice calling. Under the hood, Huawei Honor Pad 2 has a 4800mAh Battery.
Huawei Honor Pad 2 comes with the price tag of 999 yuan ($148 / Rs. 9900 approx.) for 3GB/16GB with WIFI version, 1299 yuan ($192 / Rs. 12,900 approx.) for 3GB/32GB with WIFI version and 1499 yuan ($ 222 / Rs. 14899 approx.) for 3GB/32GB with 4G LTE. This device comes in Gold and White color variants and will be available from October 25th but the pre-order can be done from 19th October.
