Huawei’s, sub-brand Honor unveiled its new flagship device Honor 6X at an event in China last year. Furthermore, the firm has announced the smartphone would also be available in other global markets through flash sales. Now Huawei has started sending out media invites for a product launch event in India on January 24, which is Honor 6X. Adding to it the e-commerce giant, Amazon India has confirmed the smartphone sales begins from January 24 onwards in India. Besides that, there are no other announcements regarding the Honor 6X pricing in India.
On specs aspects, the Honor 6X comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass IPS display. The smartphone is powered by Octa-core Kirin 655 16nm processor including Mali T830-MP2 GPU. The device comes in three storage variants such as 32GB storage with 3GB RAM, 32GB storage with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage with 4GB RAM. Apart from that, Honor 6X features dual rear camera 12MP+8MP with LED Flash, 6P lens, 1.25um pixel size, PDAF and 8MP shooter on the front for Selfie as well. The device runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 which is allegedly upgradable to nougat. It also has a fingerprint scanner on its back as well as a 3,340mAh under the hood to power up the device.
Since there is no information about Honor 6X pricing in India, by judging the US and Europe price tags – $249.99 and £224/€249 – we can expect it to be under Rs. 20,000.
