Huawei launched Honor 10 smartphone with 6GB RAM in China. And now, the company has announced a mightier variant of the device dubbed as Honor 10 GT. The device comes with 8GB RAM, the latest GPU Turbo and tripod-free Night Mode update out of the box. Rest of the specifications are same as the standard variant of Honor 10.
The latest GPU Turbo increases the graphics performance of the device by 60% and lowers the power usage by 30%. Besides that, it also lets the Mali-G72 MP12 to create those stunning night pictures to reach the level of the P20 and P20 Pro. Currently, the software update is in beta stage and will arrive in all handsets no later than July 15.
Honor 10 GT Specifications
Honor 10 GT sports a 5.84-inch FHD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass on its top. The resolution of the phone’s screen is 2240 x 1080 pixels. Inside it, there is in-house Kirin 970 processor with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU and whopping 8GB of RAM.
Previously, Honor 10 arrived with 64GB and 128GB onboard storage variants, however, the internal storage of Honor 10 GT is not known. The phone arrives with a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 16MP primary RGB sensor with LED flash and a 24MP secondary monochrome sensor with f/1.8 aperture, CAF, and PDAF. The rear camera also comes with 2X zoom, AI scene recognition, and many AI capabilities as well.
However, on the front, the handset has a 24MP snapper with f/2.0 aperture and AI beautification to beautify selfies. The front camera also comes with face unlock support which can quickly unlock the device. Honor 10 GT comes with Dual SIM with Dual 4G VoLTE support and has AK4376A Hi-Fi audio chip for the enhanced audio experience.
Below the screen of the phone, there is a fingerprint scanner mounted on the capacitive home button. Out of the box, Honor 10 GT runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.1 on the top and has 3400mAh battery which supports fast charging.
Honor 10 GT Pricing and Availability:
The pricing of the Honor 10 GT is yet to be revealed. Earlier launched Honor 10 with 6 GB RAM carried a price tag of 2,599 Yuan ($390). Hence, it’s reasonable to say that the higher 8 GB RAM variant of it could be priced higher than the earlier. However, the device will be available for purchase starting from July 24 from Honor’s online store and JD.com.
