As things were expected to be, Google has very recently pushed out Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for its Nexus 6 smartphone. Last month, the similar kind of update was rolled out for various Pixel and Nexus devices.
The Android 7.1.1 Nougat update, which has been the talk of the world, introduces a slew of interesting features, including keyboard image insertion, new emojis, app shortcuts and compatibility to circular app icons.
It also includes January Android security patch and shortcuts for applications that can be launched from the home screen. These can be accessed on Twitter, Google Maps, Google Messenger and others, just tap on the respective icon for a few seconds.
