As expected, Google has finally unveiled their latest flagship smartphone Pixel at an event in San Francisco. Google Nexus lineup is finally dead and it’s time for Google’s own Pixel now. Google Pixel packs 5-inch Full HD AMOLED display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The device is powered by 2.15 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB RAM. Out of the box, the device comes with Android 7.1 Nougat.

Depending on internal storage it has two variants 32GB and 128GB. Unfortunately, there’s no room for memory expansion. Coming to the Camera part, the device comes with a 12.3MP rear Camera with Sony IMX378 sensor, LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, LDAF. The primary Camera can record up to 2K videos at 30fps. On the front, the device has an 8MP shooter with 1.4 µm pixel size. The front-facing camera can record up to 1080p videos.
The smartphone has 3.5mm Headphone port, and unlike new flagship smartphones, they haven’t removed it. The device supports 4G LTE with Single SIM (Nano). On the back, it has a circular Fingerprint sensor and a 2,770mAh battery under the hood.
Google Pixel is filled up with Google offers. The device will get unlimited storage for Photos and can upload pictures at full resolution. Though the phone is made by HTC but, this time, there’s no branding of HTC. You can only see “G” logo there on the back.
The 32GB variant of Pixel is priced at $649, and the 128GB variant is priced at $749. The device comes in Quite Black, Very Silver, and Really Blue colors. The Really blue color variant will be available only in the US. The pre-order starts from today in the US, Canada, Australia and Germany. In India, it will be up for pre-order on 13th October from Flipkart with a hefty price tag of Rs. 57,000.
