Android lead Hiroshi Lockheimer’s latest comments on the 4th October event have fueled many gossips about Google’s new operating system, Andromeda. Chrome Operating System and Android will join hands for delivery of Google Nexus 9.
According to rumors, during the Q3 of 2017, Andromeda powered Pixel 3 could be launched. Pixel 3, codenamed ‘Bison’ is considered as a tablet – notebook hybrid which means initially it can be used as a laptop, but one can also use it as a tablet.
The hybrid gadget will come with a 12.3 inches Touch display and will possess storage capacity of 32 GB / 128 GB. The device will be powered up by a Core i5 or an Intel m3 processor, and it will run with the help of 8 GB or 16 GB RAM. Other specifications include dual USB Type-C ports, stereo speakers, stylus support, various other sensors, 10-hour battery life and much more. The best part is that the device is only of 10 mm thin and it starts from $799 only.
As far as the features are concerned, it seems that Google Pixel 3 will be able to reach the heights of Apple iPad Pro and Microsoft Surface models.
However, Android and Chrome OS features will be integrated into Andromeda; its detailed functioning is yet to be disclosed. We hope there will be some more leaks through which we will be able to know something more about Google Pixel 3. Anyway, Google is ready to launch their upcoming smartphones Pixel and Pixel XL on October 4th.
