Xiaomi Mi Mix is a very popular smartphone because of its bezel-less display. Last year Philippe Starck designed the whole smartphone and it was a huge success. So Xiaomi announced later that Starck will also design the Mi Mix 2. It’s been a while Xiaomi Mi 6 has launched now it’s time for another flagship which is Mi Mix 2. It seems the Mi Mix 2 design is ready as Philippe Starck has just published a stunning concept video on his Facebook page with the tagline “Even less”.
Looking at the design it seems Mi Mix 2 will have 95% screen-to-body ratio which looks amazing. The top panel will have 3D glass design so it looks even more stunning.
Mi Mix was using Cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic system but users complained that sound is insufficient and call quality was not good. So this year in Mi Mix 2, Xiaomi is going to replace that feature with AAC.
So far what we know, Mi Mix 2 will feature a 6-inch Display, Snapdragon 835 chipset, 12MP rear camera. The device will come in two variants 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. The base variant will be priced at 3999 yuan while the premium variant will be priced at 4399 yuan.
