Recently, it is being rumored that Apple will integrate Augmented Reality technology in iPhone camera app. The rumor further claims that Apple is currently working to create a 3D object database.
This technology will be able to recognize and manipulate people’s face. In the latest iOS version, Apple has integrated facial recognition technology.
It seems that Apple is in a long run move because the company has acquired lots of VR and AR based companies including Flyby Media in January 2016 and Metaio in February 2014. Apple will release Augmented Reality technology as an SDK for app developers.
