Asus announced Tango and Daydream powered smartphone back in January this year at CES 2017. It was also the first smartphone to come with 8GB RAM. Finally, Asus has officially launched the device in India.
Asus Zenfone AR sports a big 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED Display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The device is powered by Quad-Core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 821 SoC along with whopping 8GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. The internal storage is 128GB which can be expanded up to 200GB using microSD. Out of the box, Zenfone AR runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Zen UI 3.0 on the top.
As far as camera specs are concerned, Zenfone AR features a 23-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX318 sensor, Laser AutoFocus, dual-tone LED Flash, 3-axis EIS, 4-axis OIS, and f/2.0 aperture. While the selfie shooter is an 8-megapixel lens with 85-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture.
The Fingerprint sensor in this device is placed under the Home button and it also has Built-in Mono 5 magnet speakers which support High-Res Audio and DTS virtual surround sound. The fingerprint sensor also works with wet fingers. Under the hood, it has a 3300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging.
Asus Zenfone AR is priced at Rs. 49,999 in India and comes in Black color. The device is now available exclusively on Flipkart.
