Asus launched a Zenfone 3 series back in August, but the devices weren’t well received maybe because of the price hike. The midrange market is highly competitive as so many companies are coming and offering more in low price. Now it seems Asus is not putting an end of Zenfone series as another Zenfone 3 with model no: Asus Z01HDA passed through TENAA. The retail name is likely to be Zenfone 3 Zoom.
Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom is likely to come with a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D AMOLED Display. The device will be powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor along with Adreno 506 GPU. There will be three variants 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM, 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM. The memory can be expanded using MicroSD card. The device will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
There’s an iPhone 7 Plus-like Dual camera setup on the back. The rear cameras will be 12.2MP+13MP shooter with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, Laser AutoFocus. On the front, there will be a 13MP Camera to take care of selfies.
The device will have Hybrid Dual SIM support with 4G VoLTE. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back of the device. Under the hood, there will be a massive 4,850 mAh battery.
Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom will come in Silver, Black, and Golden colors and it is expected the device will launch next month at CES 2017 “Zenovation” Event.
