Google unveiled its latest Android Nougat 7.0 last year, and now already most of the smartphone manufacturers have started to working on upgrading their device to it. Whereas now the Taiwanese company, Asus initiated rolling out Android Nougat 7.0 update to one of its smartphone. The Asus ZenFone 3 devices with model numbers ZE520KL and ZE552KL started receiving Nougat 7.0 update in the Philippines. The Nougat update brings the multi-window support; notifications control changes for easier access, and improved power management features and other performance related tweaks.
The Asus ZenFone 3 is a mid-range smartphone launched back in May 2016. The ZenFone 3 runs on Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64 GB of native storage and is expandable via SD card. The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display, has a rear camera of 16 MP and 8MP for taking selfies. The phone also contains fingerprint scanner at its back and gets power from a 3000mah battery under the hood.
The Zenfone 3 is the first Asus smartphone to receive Android Nougat 7.0 update and its available in the Philippines now. And we expect it’ll be soon arriving in the other countries as well.
