Asus has launched ROG Phone, company’s first gaming smartphone in India. The phone was announced back in June this year at Computex 2018 in Taiwan. Let’s check out the specs of this smartphone.
Asus ROG Phone Specifications
Asus ROG Phone comes with a 6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED 90Hz display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 2160 × 1080 pixels resolution, 550 nits brightness. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and also comes with Gaming HDR and Mobile HDR support.
ROG Phone is powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC with Adreno 630 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB/512GB of onboard storage. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with ROG Gaming X mode UI on the top. ROG Phone comes with a GameCool system which helps to cool down the chipset during heavy gaming.
Coming to the camera segment, ROG Phone equips 12MP+8MP dual rear cameras with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, 4-axis, dual pixel sensor, 4 stops optical image stabilization, and AI Scene Detection. On the front, it has an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture to take care of the selfies.

Asus ROG Phone is priced at Rs. 69,999 in India and comes in Black color. The device is now available exclusively on Flipkart.
Asus ROG Phone comes with some cool accessories like AeroActive Cooler which helps to cool down the device, TwinView Dock which adds a secondary 6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The display can be used to see other things while gaming. Developers can add features like reading strategies, maps, chat options, and other important information so it will be very easy for the very competitive gamers.
The TwinView Dock costs Rs. 21,999 while GameVice (Joystick) is priced at Rs. 5,999. The Professional Dock costs Rs. 5,499 and the Desktop Dock is priced at Rs. 12,999.
