ASUS India is all set to launch its next gaming flagship smartphone ROG Phone 3 in India on July 22. The device will come with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 Plus processor which will give 10% faster performance than the current Snapdragon 865 SoC.
TENAA listing reveals that the ROG Phone 3 is expected to come with a 6.59-inch Full HD+ 144Hz OLED display with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels, 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10 and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
The device is expected to feature Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC with Adreno 650 GPU and 8GB / 12GB / 16GB LPDDR5 RAM. The storage options are likely to be 128GB / 256GB / 512GB (UFS 3.0). Out of the box, the device will run on Android 10 with ROG UI on the top.
The device is expected to come with a 64MP rear camera, ultra-wide camera, and a depth sensor. On the front, the device is likely to have a 13MP front-facing camera to take of the selfies.
ROG Phone 3 will have an in-display fingerprint sensor along with 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, NFC support. The device will also have Hi-Res audio, DTS Headphone:X 7.1 virtual surround sound for headphones.
Under the hood, ROG Phone 3 will have a large 6000mAh battery with 30W QC4.0 fast charging support.
The company has created a product page on Flipkart which says “ROG Phone 3, Rule Them All”. The virtual launch event will take place on July 22 at 8:15 PM. We will know more about the pricing then.
