Along with iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, Apple has also unveiled Apple Watch Series 2 at the event in San Francisco. The Smart Watch comes with new Dual-Core S2 chip with faster performance and 2x better graphics with new GPU. According to Apple, the new gen watch is 50% faster than the previous smartwatch.
Apple Watch Series 2 is now 2x brighter than the predecessor with 1000 nits. It also has an inbuilt GPS now which will fulfil mapping needs while running and walking even if you don’t carry your phone.
The new gen Apple watch is now “swimproof” in water up to 50 meters. It comes with latest watchOS 3 which features improved performance and simpler design. Apple watch can track average lap pace, measure calorie burn accurately.
The Space Black stainless steel, Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Silver or space grey aluminium cases Apple Watch Series 2 are priced at $369. Apple has also introduced ceramic variant with stainless steel and aluminium which are priced at $1249. You can pre-order the watch from today and will be available from 16th September.
