Don’t ask, how bad we waited to hear this! Apple’s spaceship-looking headquarters is all set to open in April and has been named Apple Park.
The uber-spacious complex comprises imposing working places with an Apple Store, a 100,000 sq.ft fitness center, R&D facilities, public café, and an auditorium with the moniker ‘Steve Jobs Theater’, which has a seating arrangement of over 1,000 people.
Apple Park can accommodate a total count of 12,000 people at one given time, and less wonder, this is a real hit thing!
Besides all these highlights, the spaceship office, as we fondly call it, works on renewable energy, thanks to the 17 megawatts of rooftop solar panels. Lest we forget, this is one of the biggest and the largest solar energy installations ever in the world. A no mean feat, indeed!
Apple Park is wonderfully ventilated, which itself diminishes the need of heating/cooling for over nine months of the year. Apple’s new Headquarters is located in California.
