In late November Apple started the beta testing for iOS 10.2 and after rolling out five multiple beta updates Apple has officially released the final version of iOS 10.2 which is now available for all compatible devices. In case if you haven’t received the iOS update notification yet, you can install the new update through iTunes.
The latest iOS 10.2 features the new Apple’s TV app which helps the Apple TV owners to find content to watch without any trouble. Aside from that, they’ll also view their new purchased movies and TV shows from different services right from the app. However, it’s necessary to mention that the Apple’s new TV app works only in the US right now. Along with that the iOS 10.2 brings over 100 new emoji, new wallpapers, and iMessage screen effects.
After upgrading to iOS 10.2, you’ll no longer need to reapply your previous camera settings, since it doesn’t reset now when you restart the app. The new iOS release features additional video widgets and sign-on support for cable subscribers in the US. The Emergency SOS feature is available which will contact to emergency services on pressing the power button five times. Additionally, now the Music app has got bigger shuffle and repeat buttons, including the enhancements of Live Photos. Finally, the News app receives a saved section where you can save your stories that you want to read it later. Now you can quickly change from one news item to another while reading by swiping left or tapping next story.
