The Xiaomi Mi Mix was one of the first devices to bring an almost bezel-less display into the market. The device was well-acclaimed upon launch and it encouraged Xiaomi to release a sequel to the Mi Mix. Not even 6 months have passed since the Mi Mix 2 was launched and we already hear rumors of a possible third gen device in the Mi Mix series.
Even though it is quite early to get any confirmed news about the upcoming Mi Mix 3, a leaked image (read spy shot) have been circulating on the internet today alleged to be of the rear panel on the Mi Mix 3.
What’s more interesting about the leaked image is that the rear panel image looks very much similar to that of the latest Apple iPhone X and has a “Mi Mix Designed by Xiaomi” branding at the back.
Apart from its familiar looks, the image leak also points towards a vertically aligned dual-camera setup in the rear of the Mi Mix 3 and this will be the first device in the series to feature a dual rear camera setup.
Even though the design and display of the Mi Mix and Mi Mix 2 impressed everyone, camera performance has not been a strong point for both the Smartphones and it will be interesting to see what Xiaomi pulls off with the Mi Mix 3.
It is to be noted that the leaked image could be a possible prototype design for the Mi Mix 3 and as it is quite early in the development stage, the design could change completely later.
