Microdia, a California-based company has announced world’s highest capacity 512 GB Xtra Elite microSDXC SD card this week. Earlier only SanDisk has launched the highest capacity 200GB microSDXC UHS-I card at MWC. Recently HTC and LG have announced to launch their high capacity external storage smartphones up to 2 TB.
The target customers of Microdia are the professional photographers and for those who need more storage with high transfer speed. The approx price of Microdia is around $1,000 (INR 63,860 approx.). If any other company release this type of high capacity SD card then we can expect the price get cheaper.
