As promised Oppo today announced R9 and R9 Plus in China at an event. Last week the specifications of both devices were out but those were rumored though. So lets checkout the official specifications.
Oppo R9 Specifications

Oppo R9 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) AMOLED display. It is powered by a Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor along with 4GB RAM and 700MHz Mali T860MP2 GPU. The internal storage is 64GB with upto 128GB memory expansion support using MicroSD card. When comes to software it will be powered by Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with Color OS 3.0 on the top of it.
The primary camera is 13MP with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture which can record upto 4K videos. The front-facing camera is 16MP with f/2.0 aperture to take high quality selfies and video calling purpose. The front camera also has 78.1-degree wide-angle lens.
The device has a 4G LTE support and Fingerprint reader along with Hybrid Dual SIM (2nd slot can be used as MicroSD) support. When coming to the connectivity it has WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS support. The battery is 2850mAh with VOOV Rapid charge support for faster charging.
Oppo R9 is priced at 2799 Yuan (Rs. 28,754 approx) and comes in Rose Gold and Golden color variants. The device is up at official OPPO site for registration and it will go on sale from March 24th.

The Oppo R9 Plus has a 6-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) Amoled display. It is be powered by a Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 (620) processor along with 4GB RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. The internal storage is 64GB/128GB which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD card. The device will be powered by Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with Color OS 3.0 on the top of it.
Both primary camera and front camera is going to be 16MP with f/2.0 aperture to take very high quality pictures. The device will have a fingerprint and 4G support along with a 4120mAh battery with VOOC Rapid Charge for faster charging. It will also have Hybrid SIM where the second slot can be used as a MicroSD card.
Oppo R9 is priced at 3299 Yuan (Rs. 33800 approx) and comes in Rose Gold and Golden color variants. The device is up at official OPPO site for registration and it will go on sale from March 24th. There is no news for Global release yet.
