A new report has created ripples in the market, in which, it has been claimed that Samsung will soon start testing a dual-screen smartphone prototype soon.
ET News, in its latest piece, has cited anonymous sources while revealing that the prototype is nothing, but the Samsung Galaxy X. Reportedly, the device can fold 180 degrees, and sports two conjoined AMOLED displays.
One of the sources said:
“Samsung seems to be testing the waters with the dual-screen device to gather ideas about its upcoming foldable phone.”
The report further goes to disclose that Samsung is doing its research and development works with an aim to produce a limited stock of Galaxy X smartphones by the end of this year. However, these are very immature details pertaining to Samsung’s next and must be taken with the pinch of salt.
