Samsung has finally announced their latest flagship smartphone Galaxy Note9. Let’s check out the specifications of this smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy Note9 comes with a 6.4-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED edge-to-edge display with 516ppi pixel density. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Galaxy Note9 is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU for the U.S. market and Samsung Exynos 9 Series 9810 processor with Mali G72MP18 GPU for the international markets. The device comes in two variants: 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with whopping 512GB storage. The storage can be upgraded up to 512GB using microSD card. Out of the box, Galaxy Note9 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung’s own interface.
Coming to the camera department, Galaxy Note9 sports a 12MP primary rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.4-f/1.5 variable aperture, 960fps super slo-mo and a 12MP secondary rear camera with f/2.4 aperture. The secondary cam comes with a telephoto lens for bokeh effect with live focus. On the front, the device has an 8MP camera with a wide-angle lens, f/1.7 aperture.
Galaxy Note9 is IP68 rated water and dust resistant. It has an Iris scanner and a fingerprint sensor placed at the back below the camera panel. The device also comes with a dedicated Bixby button. Galaxy Note9 sips its juice from a 4000mAh battery with fast charging support both on wired and wireless. Note9 features stereo speakers tuned by AKG and support Dolby Atmos similar to Galaxy S9 series.
Samsung has introduced an improved S Pen stylus with Bluetooth support. The S Pen has a clicker on the bottom and a button on its surface which helps to take selfies, pause and play video, present slides and many more. Samsung will open it for the developers later this year so that developers can integrate S Pen’s features into their apps.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 Pricing
Samsung Galaxy Note9 comes with a price tag of $999.99 for the 6GB RAM variant while the 8GB RAM variant costs $1,249.99. The device comes in Lavender Purple, Midnight Black, Metallic Copper with a matching S Pen, and Ocean Blue with a Yellow S Pen. The phone will be up for sale in the U.S. from August 24, 2018.
